Alternative Medicine
Alternative medicine is used to describe the proven potency of medicinal herbs in addressing many diseases that synthetic drugs alone cannot truly cure, such as ulcers, heart disease, or cancer. Mainstream medicine, the modern allopathic system of treatment (surgery, synthetic drugs—everything we find in modern hospitals), views the thousands of years of herbal traditional medicine as just an alternative to “modern medicine.” After the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the world woke up and viewed modern medicine as something we needed to question, given its medical monopoly, the control of medical literature by Big Pharma, and its adverse effects on public health in the light of misinformation and information censorship.
